Improving your credit report

Some renters will require a credit report from you, along with the rental application.
If you have a bad credit score, this may not be good, and it may limit your chances of acquiring the new rental property.

If your credit score is not good, or not as high as you thought it was, you must make sure that your credit report information is correct. When was the last time you printed a credit report on yourself, you may be shocked. If however the information is correct on your credit report, read your report carefully. Research factors that can have a negative impact on your score. Then once you found them, work to better them.
